Individuals carving in 2012 Winterfest

The Winterfest Committee would like to invite everyone in the community to
try their hand at the most glorious of art media, ice! This year the
committee hopes to attract both professional and aspiring artists. Any
group, individual, organization, or business that would like to create a
glistening, but ephemeral, ice carving, should contact Anita Brosius-Scott at 236-9878 or anita@scotssnet.com. The committee urges you to sign up early, as ice is limited. The Winterfest
Committee provides ice-carving tools or you can bring your own. There will
be an ice-carving demonstration and workshop with master carver Tim Pierce on January 15. The cost for a block of ice is only $50.
